The full four disc set features concert footage from both Friday and Saturday Gathering performances which have certainly been ranked as some of the best ever (see review below). Without any stage barriers Mike Peters and The Alarm are able to deliver incredibly high intensity performances that have pushed the band and the fans to new heights, creating an atmosphere unique to The Alarm community.
Everything that happened has been captured for all who were there to relive time and again and to show those who couldn't get in what was missed. The Friday night features grand scale versions of 'Spirit Of '76' and 'Walk Forever' with a mass of musicians and choir members on stage to compliment the raised voices of Alarm fans from all over the world. The Saturday night concert captures the modern era of Mike Peters and The Alarm at their absolute best playing rousing versions of 'My Town', '45 RPM' and 'The Drunk and the Disorderly', to a home crowd that is with them all the way from the start of the beginning to the point of no return as Mike Peters demonstrates his remarkable stage craft at both ends of the arena, off stage and on, in and amongst the crowd. The fourth element of 'Hands Held High' consists of an audio highlight's CD that brings together the very best performances from the heart of what was a near three hour performance. Not to be missed.
