18 live songs capturing all the drama & excitement of The Alarm’s ‘Under Attack’ tour 2006.

All tracks on 'The Saturday Gigs' were recorded and mixed by producer Martin Wilding and selected from the best performances of the tour. From The Gathering to Glasgow via London and Manchester this is the first real audio document of the 'new' Alarm with a 19 track set list that draws heavily on the here and now.

To complete the 'I was there' feel of the album, Mike Peters has recorded a special acoustic performance of the 'Mott The Hoople' classic 'The Saturday Gigs', that closes the album in the way that the original 'Mott' version was played over the P.A. system at the end of each concert.

The 12 page booklet also features incredible 'live' shots by photographer Rob Dunsford plus extracts from Mike Peters 'on tour' diary.

The atmosphere on this live album is electric throughout, from start to finish. If you were lucky enough to 'be there' then this CD will immediately take you right back... if you had wished you had 'been there', then 'The Saturday Gigs' will give you the next best thing to being there in person. Unmissable!

Includes songs from the so called 'remission gig' in Machester where Mike announced (just before 'without a fight') from the stage he was at last in remission from cancer.
