Rock 'n' Roll Circus, live at The Marquee Club, is a multi-camera visual document of an amazing Alarm show. On 8th November 2004, at the legendary Marquee Club in Leicester Square, London was packed to the roof and the band was on top form, playing a unique set of classics and modern originals.

1-2-3-4 the songs come thick and fast from the opening rush of 'Federal Motor Voter' / 'Deeside' / Mercenary Skank / Rescue Me', the and hardly pause to draw breath until the elegant acoustic medley of reworked 'Alarm' classics 'The Stand / Knife Edge / Absolute Reality / Blaze Of Glory', is sung with the passionate raised voice of the entire audience. The band's origins are honoured via the sound and fury of '45 R.P.M.' (the song that brought The Alarm back to prominence in 2004) before the timeless 'Spirit Of '76' gives way to the poignant modern closer 'In The Poppy Fields'.

This amazing Alarm concert DVD (the title inspired by the screen- printed image that can be seen on the back of lead singer Mike Peters stage jacket), had been commisioned by VH1 in the USA as the endgame for a competition in the 'Bands Reunited' series and features 'The Alarm Make A Stand In The USA', an insightful one hour documentary shot by the band during the ground-breaking American ‘STAND’ tour of 2003.

Beginning in London with Mike Peters' revealing video diary from the taping of The Alarm's original 'VH1 Bands Reunited' and taking in all the drama and madness that accompanies Mike Peters, guitarist James Stevenson, bass player Craig Adams and drummer Steve Grantley as they embark on a modern day 'rock and roll circus' tour of the USA via tons of 'live' and 'behind the scenes' footage from the band's month long four city US residency in New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles.
