SPECIAL OFFER - UNDER ATTACK Collection

Regular price £29.99

Tax included.

An opportunity to get reacquainted with The Alarm's 'Under Attack' era. The original album was released in 2006 with an accompanying DVD making it an experience to be seen and heard at the same time. Every song on the CD was represented with a visual performance on the accompanying DVD. 21st Century has managed to obtain only 50 copies of the hard to find original CD/DVD Edition, and this special collectors bundle comes complete with The Alarm - Saturday Gigs CD which was recorded at various venues in the UK during the emotional 'one gig a month' Saturday Gigs series staged, while Mike Peters was receiving chemotherapy treatment in between shows. Also include in the collection is the Alarmcast Transmissions DVD which brings together many additional studio performance, personal insights from Mike Peterss and live performances from the period, including the very special moment that Mike Peters was able to declare the news of his remission, during a hugely charged concert performance of 'Without A Fight', at Manchester University.

"Hard-hitting arrangements with thickly chorded guitars.... anthemic songs like "Without a Fight" and "Zero" set the dominant tone.... earnestly urging courage and dignity." Review All Music.
Under Attack was recorded at sessions in Wales and Henley-On-Thames during the summer of 2005 and mixed at various studios around the world including Abbey Road, London and Electric Lady in New York. The album was produced by The Alarm along with Martin Wilding (Poppy Fields / Doves) and George Williams (Babyshambles) with additional mixes by Pete Walsh (Simple Minds / Scott Walker).

THE ALARM - THE SATURDAY GIGS CD features 18 live songs recorded at various venues throughout the UK, capturing all the drama & excitement of The Alarm’s Under Attack / Saturday Gigs Tour of 2006.
